2020 Fanart Contest Rules
Art Theme: Tsuki/Hoshi interacting with your favorite anime character
Winning Prize: $40 Gift Certificate, redeemable for the winner’s choice of KuroNekoCon Registration or Merchandise.
Submissions must include Tsuki and/or Hoshi, KuroNekoCon’s cat mascots, AND any anime, video game, or Japanese media character of the artist’s choosing. More than one anime character is allowed and encouraged in your art, as long as they are interacting with Tsuki and/or Hoshi. Entries do not have to include both cats, but this is encouraged!
Tsuki must be portrayed as a black or dark grey cat with yellow-green eyes and green paint on the tip of her tail. Hoshi must be portrayed as a light blue cat with light pink eyes and light pink paint on the tip of his tail. Hoshi is a new addition to KuroNekoCon marketing, so reference images of him are not widely available—please see this image for color reference.
Reference for both mascots and their preferred hobbies can be seen on KuroNekoCon’s staff directory page.
